Explore this microlearning course I built in Articulate Rise about How to Write Effective Assessments. This microlearning about writing effective assessments includes learning objectives, lively graphics, clear sections that divide the content, practical examples, and questions that measure whether learners grasped the key concepts.
Explore this training video I created for Riders Share about how to list a motorcycle to rent on their platform. The target audience is motorcycle owners who wish to rent their bikes on Riders Share to earn money. In my needs analysis, I learned that the customer service team receives a lot of repetitive questions about the process of listing a bike, so I created a follow-along video demonstrating the process to reduce customer support tickets and increase listings on the platform.

This project included the design, development, and management of 38 instructor-led, eLearning, and microlearning courses that were consumed over 40,000 times by more than 8,000 customers.
Getting to know the learners was a priority. With an audience of busy financial and accounting professionals from around the globe, it was important to design efficient and effective classes to suit the demands of their schedules and jobs.
The trainings are powered by modern, simple design. The courses were designed in Microsoft PowerPoint and Articulate Rise. Software simulations were built in Articulate Storyline. Video and audio recording and editing were completed in Camtasia and Audacity. Captioning was added using Descript.

This project included the end-to-end LMS migration of science curriculum from Canvas to Publish Anywhere for a homeschool publishing company. BookShark needed to urgently transfer their virtual curriculum from one LMS to another. I designed and developed over 280 lessons and assessments with an easily-navigable visual design to ensure that young students stay engaged while completing their coursework.
Designing for young learners was a priority. With an audience of students ages 8-12, it was important to use UX/UI principles to design intuitive lessons and assessments with no distractions.
Each lesson is powered by a custom HTML design and custom images. The assessments include a variety of assessment question types to gather accurate data about each student.

This long-term project included the design and development of a comprehensive social studies curriculum for grades 3-5 that has been used in 8,000 classrooms in 35 countries.
The curriculum development was driven by evidence-based practiced for young learners and covered topics that students need to thrive in the 21st-century, including, citizenship, economics, geography, religions, and cultures. With an audience of busy teachers without subject-matter expertise in the topics, it was critical to deliver easy-to-implement lessons that would be highly engaging for students.
Each unit in the social studies curriculum included between 10-15 lessons that can be differentiated for different grade levels. Units include detailed lesson plans, alignment to national and state standards, informational texts, slideshows, activites, projects, assessments, and other tools for teachers.
